Workplace Early Intervention

Do you have an injured worker?

We may be able to help them, before you need to lodge an expensive claim through your workers compensation insurance!

At Palms Physiotherapy, we are supported by a robust network of fully trained and experienced physiotherapy clinics in Noranda, Ellenbrook, and soon in Malaga. This allows us to support your organisation by identifying injuries at their earliest stages and activating a rapid response action plan to prevent them from becoming long-term claims.

Our Service offers peace of mind, ensuring that all musculoskeletal workplace injuries are managed, treated, and outcomes clarified in a consistent, all-in-one solution.

Rapid Response

If an employee reports an injury, soreness, or discomfort, clients can book the affected employee for an appointment at one of our Palms Physiotherapy clinics and get them seen within one day. This ensures that early intervention physiotherapy and effective management of any functional movement concerns or acute injuries occur immediately.

Communicate Early

Following the appointment, the treating physiotherapist will call or email the client to discuss the nature of the employee’s injury and appropriate management strategies moving forward.

Report Back

The treating physiotherapist will provide a detailed report explaining the treatment performed and specific return-to-work recommendations. This feedback loop serves as a safety net, ensuring that no employees slip through the cracks and remain untreated or at risk of further injury.

Benefits:

Early Intervention Physiotherapy

At Palms Physiotherapy, we believe proactive injury prevention is key to reducing workplace injuries and improving employee health and wellbeing. In cases where an injury or discomfort is reported, early intervention physiotherapy is imperative.

In the unlikely case we are unable to help you/the employee, if the injury is very serious in nature requiring significant time off work or injury etc, we recommend that you progress to lodging a workers compensation claim. We can continue to see the employee and the treatment will be then funded through workers compensation. We also recommend you also lodge an internal incident report for your records as a matter of procedure if the claim does need to progress to an insurance claim.
